iPhone battery — when to replace and which to take

- A protection board (BMS) against overcharging — all ours have one.
- A fresh battery: batteries age on the shelf too, so buy where there is turnover.

If the back is lifting or the screen is separating from the frame, the battery has swollen — stop charging and replace it immediately.
