Which charger for Huawei or Honor?
Newer Huawei and Honor phones use USB-C and charge with any USB-C charger. Proprietary fast charging (SuperCharge, e.g. 22.5, 40 or 66 W) runs at full speed only with a Huawei/Honor charger and cable; with a standard USB-C PD charger the phone charges, but slower.
Older Huawei — which cable?
Older models (e.g. P9 lite, P smart, Y6 2019) use micro USB — use a micro USB cable with a standard 2 A charger.
Can a stronger charger damage my phone?
No — the phone draws only the power it supports; a 65 W charger charges a phone at the phone's own speed. The only risk is cheap uncertified chargers (no CE) with unstable voltage.
